Tiratanaloka Buddhist Retreat Centre, Talybont-on-Usk Brecon

Buddha in the Garden at Tiratanaloka

Tiratanaloka is a community of 8 Dharmacharinis living together, running retreats and taking care of the retreat centre. As the Tiratanaloka Ordination team they offer a training for ordination. This training has two aspects: getting to know and understand the Order, which is based on Sangharakshita’s vision, and deepening one’s practice to the point at which it becomes effective.

Retreats

All retreats are either for women who have asked to join the Triratna Buddhist Order, called Going for Refuge retreats, or for Dharmacharinis, which include training for private preceptors and Post Ordination retreats for those recently ordained.

Hello, women from abroad, single mums and younger women once in a while need fiscal help going ahead Tiratanaloka retreats.Women from peripheral circumstances might not have a Sangha to help them raise the money they need.their bursary store has underpinned women from as far away as Mexico and Estonia, and as close as Buddhafield, to come there.
    Good day.
